Nelson
Blue Merle Male

Nelson was born on Earth Day and was named for Senator Gaylord
Nelson, Founder of Earth Day

"Our goal is not just an environment of clean air and water and scenic beauty. The objective is an environment of decency, quality and mutual respect for all other human beings and all other living creatures."

"The ultimate test of man's conscience may be his willingness to sacrifice something today for future generations whose words of thanks will not be heard."

Both quotes from Senator Gaylord Nelson

TJ
Black Tri Male

TJ, AKA Tux Junior.  Big shoes for the little guy to fill, but he's sure looking like he's up to the challenge!

Foenix Rose
Red Tri Female
10.5 oz at birth

Foenix with an "F" to match the one on her neck.  She's our first red at Makana and since she's also the only girl in the litter, we have a feeling she's going to be a little Diva.

Gabriel
Blue Merle Male

Gabriel was named after the angel in honor of beautiful Pearl, who was taken from her beloved home and adoring fans much too soon.  A loving mama, we'd like to think that Pearl is watching over this litter and giving her great-niece, Kenzie, tips on how to be a phenomenal mom.  As long as she forgets to mention bringing in little critters to feed them...
